Lordshill Church Football Club - Proud member of the Solent Church Football League

The Solent Church Football Leagueis a church league containing church based teams using football as a tool to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others both on and off the pitch. The football is no less competitive than any other league but the atmosphere is much more enjoyable, with an emphasis on respect for other players and officials. Each club operates in a different way but with one common theme: God as the centre point.

The Solent Church Football League was established in 1987. In 1998 the league grew into two divisions. We currently have 20 teams split into 3 leagues outreaching into their communities playing across Portsmouth, Southampton, Romsey and Winchester regions on a Saturday morning.

The teams are made up of regular church attendees with a passion for Christ with a sharing of faith through witness and experience. Teams play to win not only the competition but also belief changing the misconception's non christians have of church life.

In 2008 the new look league website was released with Cameron Asset Management Limited as its official sponsor.
